Dear Parents, Grandparents and Students!

Happy New Year!  We hope that everyone has enjoyed this holiday season!  Unfortunately, the Christmas break goes by too quickly!  Classes resume tomorrow, January 3rd!  Don't forget to wish Miss Melissa "Happy Birthday!"

Our performance at the Harlem Globetrotters event went very well!  The Junior and Senior Companies had several rehearsals during the holiday break and worked very hard!  They danced beautifully and represented the Dance Centre proudly!  Thank you to the parents, family and friends who attended the show and supported the girls!  It was another fun evening!  We hope that many of you can join us on Sunday, February 10th, for the Walleye performance.

We have finalized music and costumes for our June 2019 recital.  You will receive information about your child's/children's costumes over the next week. Please bring this information sheet with you when paying for costumes but retain it for your reference.  Also, Miss Pam and I will finish measuring for recital costumes.

Costume payments are due on or before Saturday, January 12th.  The studio will be open on this date from 11:00-2:00 pm to receive costume payments.  Costumes will not be ordered for students who have tuition balances.  

The teachers and I talked about my concern with the length of this year's recital.  We have decided that each class will perform for both shows (Saturday night performance and the Sunday matinee).  We are working on editing music, combining a few classes and shortening the intermission.  Please remember, if you commit to one performance, you commit to both performances.
We are excited to get dance routines started.  Please encourage your child/children to practice between lesson.  We will make a CD of their recital music so they have the music to practice with at home.

Last note:  I kindly ask that we leave the first two parking spots, in front of the Whitehouse Party Store, available for their customers.  Most of our parents and/or grandparents are here for at least one-hour, but their customers are in and out of their store quickly.  I appreciate your cooperation on this manner.
